Artists-in-Residence
Sebastiano Amidani, Bianca Ceravolo, and Emanuele Fantini are young Italian actors connected to Theatre No Theatre through different pedagogic projects. Sebastiano and Emanuele first collaborated with Theatre No Theatre in Threads of Creation (2024), with Emanuele later joining Masterclass in Milan (Italy) in 2025. Bianca encountered Theatre No Theatre in a workshop at La Biennale di Venezia in 2025. All three continued their artistic work within Threads of Creation 2025 and began residencies at Theatre No Theatre’s bases in Pontedera and Milan during September and October 2025, with plans to further develop these residencies in the future
Kateryna Hryhorenko, from Ukraine, has participated in three editions of Threads of Creation since 2023, steadily developing her solo work through these annual workshops. In September 2025, starting her residency with Theatre No Theatre in September 2025 in Pontedera, she will continue to explore and expand her creative process in close collaboration with Theatre No Theatre
Alexander Klimovitsky is an actor and musician based in New York (USA). Since first encountering the Workcenter of Jerzy Grotowski and Thomas Richards in 2015, he has participated in Threads of Creation in 2023, 2024, and 2025. He is now continuing his artistic journey through a residency with Theatre No Theatre.
Marta Maltese, from Italy, first took part in Threads of Creation in 2023. After continuing her work in the 2024 and 2025 editions, she has entered into a residency with Theatre No Theatre in Pontedera (Italy) in September to further develop her creative research in collaboration with Theatre No Theatre and will continue
Alon Ortas, an actor, first met Theatre No Theatre during a Masterclass in Milan in February 2025 and later joined Threads of Creation the same year. He has since begun a residency with Theatre No Theatre in Pontedera in September and Milan in October, 2025, continuing to advance his individual work within the company’s environment
